You can easily create a new reservation manually in Booking Factory by clicking on the +Booking option on the blue top bar.
There are two types of reservations you can choose from: Simple Booking or Group Booking.

Simple Booking
Simple Booking or Individual Booking is a quick and easy way to create a reservation for one room.
To create a new booking, click on the +Booking button and select Simple Booking. Then, choose the dates, rate plan, room type, room number, and number of adults from the drop-down lists. The rate plan will have a fixed cancellation policy and a set rate based on the selected dates.
To add a customer, you must select an existing customer profile in the system or create a new one. If you only enter a name without selecting or creating a customer, you will not be able to proceed with the booking.
You can also add the source or agent making the reservation, which will be included in the Channel Report, and add a reference number to the reservation.
Additional rooms can be added to the reservation by clicking on + ADD ROOM. The rate can be adjusted by typing in a new rate.
It is not necessary to add a credit card to save the reservation, but it is recommended to send a payment link via the reservation card's payment tab after saving the reservation.
Group Booking
Group Booking is a quick and easy way to create a reservation for multiple rooms.
To create a new group booking, click on the +Booking button and select Group Booking.
Then, choose the dates and rate plan and select Next.
The rate plan will have a fixed cancellation policy and a set rate based on the selected dates.
The next step in the process is your basket. Here, you can specify the number of rooms you want to book for each room type by typing in the Rooms count and then clicking on the +Add To Basket button. This action adds the selected rooms to your basket.
Next to each room type, you will see the total number of rooms available of that type and how many you have already added to the basket. In the basket, you will be able to see the status of your booking. You can review this information to ensure you are booking the correct number of rooms for each type.
Once you have selected all the rooms you need, click on the Next button to proceed with the booking process. This step ensures that you have confirmed the rooms you want to book before finalizing the reservation.
After selecting the Group Booking option, you will be presented with a similar view to when booking a single room. When adding a customer, you must choose an existing customer profile from the system or create a new one. If you only enter a name without selecting or creating a customer, you will not be able to proceed with the booking.
Additionally, you have the option to specify the source or agent responsible for the reservation, which will be recorded in the Channel Report. You can also include a reference number for the reservation.
By clicking on the blue Rooms button, you can view all the rooms included in the group booking. If needed, you can add more rooms to the group by clicking on the +Add Room button. This allows you to easily manage and adjust the rooms booked for the group reservation.
Naming list
After saving a reservation, you can add a naming list by going to the reservation card and selecting the Guests tab. Toggle the Bulk edit guests option and then type in the last name field for each guest or copy the names from an excel sheet. This allows you to create a list of names associated with the reservation for easier management and organization.
