Using iCal Links for Room Availability Sharing

If you want to share your room availability with platforms like Airbnb or HomeAway, your PMS system allows you to do so using iCal links. This guide will walk you through what the iCal link does, its limitations, and how to set it up correctly.

What Is an iCal Link?

The iCal link provides a way to share availability for each room type with third-party booking platforms that support calendar imports — such as Airbnb and HomeAway.

iCal works per room type, not per room. This means:

• It reflects how many rooms of a specific type (e.g., Standard Double Room) are still available on each date.
• If you have 5 Standard Double Rooms, and 2 are booked, the iCal feed will show 3 available.

How to Find and Use Your iCal Link

1. Go to your Settings
2. Navigate to the Room Types section from the Inventory tab
3. Click the Edit button for the room type you want to connect
4. Scroll down to find the iCal Link
5. Copy this link and paste it into the calendar import section of the external platform (e.g., Airbnb)

Reminder: The room type must be properly mapped to the corresponding listing on the external platform for syncing to work correctly.
