Revenue Management: How to connect RoomPriceGenie?

How to get API and developers keys needed for connection.

In order to connect Room Price Genie, they will need a few codes from Booking Factory. You can contact us via chat for help with that, or you can do it on your own:

First of all, you will provide RoomPriceGenie team with your property code. Go to Settings - Profile - Details and copy the Property ID.

You will also need the API Key and the Developers keys to put into your RPG account.

API Key

Click here (in Settings - Other - API Key). In case no API Key is generated yet, click on GENERATE API KEY:

Copy it by clicking on the copy icon on the right side of the screen (marked red in screenshot below) and send it over together with the property code and developers keys.

If you generate a new API Key, send it to RPG team as they need the latest one to make it work.

Developer Keys

Click here (Settings - Other - Developer Keys).
Create a new Developer Key (click Add) and name it RPG or RoomPriceGenie (or similar).
Select all of the checkboxes, then press SAVE
Make sure the checkbox is marked for Active status (see circled in red):
Press SHOW button
You will get 2 keys: Public and Secret Key.

Make sure you match the close out times to RPG if any are set in Booking Factory

You will also provide the Room Price Genie support team with the number of rooms per Room Type, and the occupancy of each room for the Rate plan that will be connected.

Their team will guide you through the setup and make sure everything is properly set in their system.
