Bookings made separately may need to be merged for several reasons.
Let´s take a look at how you would do that.
You may find out that a couple of seemingly individual separate bookings in your calendar should be joined in one. This could be for folio handling or just to indicate to your staff that these bookings are there for the same reason.
You could have a group coming and for some reason, one of the group members booked by themselves and you would like to merge that booking into the group one. Friends may have booked individually and want to pay everything together on one folio etc.
The possibilities are never-ending. So, how do you make this happen?
Example
In this example I am going to merge two separate reservations, Parker Garcia and Charlotte Wizh together into one reservation.
- Start by opening the reservation card of one of the reservation that you want to merge and then close it. This is a step that you take to guarantee that you will be able to find this reservation in the merge searchbar
- Next, open the other reservation card
- Select "merge with" and start typing the name of the guest or the reservation number into the search bar.
- Select the reservation and click confirm.
Now you have merged two reservations into one and you are able to see that the guests are traveling together and they could pay for both of the rooms with one transaction.
