Extras Categories is used to categorize your extras if you have a lot of them and want to keep the system well organized.

Extras should be used for all of your individual extra products that you are selling at your property and want to be able to charge with the room through Booking Factory. 

For example; early check in, breakfast, food & Beverages et cetera.

The system has some pre-set up extras that you can edit by selecting the pencil icon or delete by selecting the trash can. 

Edit the price and edit other details about the extras you plan to use.

Keep this section updated. You can add any of these extras to your rate plans in the next steps as included or excluded.

To create a new item select Add Extra 

Type in the title, add the price, select the sell mode of the item, and add the taxes that should apply.

You are able to add a photo to the extra item that will be visible on your booking engine if you allow the item to be sold online. 

Mark “Meal Extra” for the extra item to show up on your meal report.

Mark "Sell Online" for all extras you want to have as an add-on that the guest can book during their booking process on your booking engine,  after selecting the room.

Please note that number of extras can not be limited if set for online sale so use this with caution. 

Once you have created the extra it will be available in the dropdown box under the extra tab on reservation card.
