How to connect DK pos to a hotel in Booking Factory.
In order to connect the hotel's DKpos account to the Booking Factory you need to create a POS profile in the hotel's Booking Factory account.
You can share this article with your support contact in DK, who will help you with the connection.
FOR HOTELS IN ICELAND:
Til þess að tengja DKpos við Booking Factory vinsamlegast sækið um hér
Það er viðbúið að nokkur ásókn verði í að tengjast DKpos og hvetjum við þig því að sækja um sem fyrst.
You will need to refer to the POS API documentation when writing the implementation with Booking Factory. You can find the documentation here: https://documenter.getpostman.com/view/4290559/S1ENyeZE?version=latest#67dcf2b3-21b4-4783-9e56-0993a7d422d1
You create a POS profile by going in Settings -> Pos Profiles and click Add new Pos Profile.
In the POS profile you created you will find the path, username and password that you need to use when communicating with Booking Factory through the POS API.
After you have created the Pos profile you need to toggle the "Do not aggregate extras into groups." checkbox.
Pos profiles are configured to group extras together by default. Pos profiles can be configured to not group extras together by toggling the "Do not aggregate extras into groups" under pos profile edit form. When the extras are configured to aggregate into groups all the extras will be aggregated into one single item in Booking Factory named after the group name you provided when sending the data through the POS api. When the extras are NOT configured to aggregate into groups then the extras will appear in Booking Factory as they are defined in the request sent through the POS API.
